RBANS Neuropsychological Test Battery
Brief Report
This screening/baseline assessment is designed for individuals of all ages who believe they may have suffered a concussion, and/or that any concussion they may have suffered has had an ongoing impact on some aspect of their cognitive functioning.
It establishes the current level of functioning, any deviation from the expected level of functioning as a result of prior injury or concussion, the specific areas of brain functioning that have been damaged as a result of the previous concussion or injury and a baseline of functioning that can be used to measure the severity of any future head injury or concussion. This assists in rehabilitation and treatment planning to help achieve the most rapid and complete healing and return to pre-injury levels of functioning.

This infographic explains why Dr. Stephens and the HPR team use a RBANS assessment test over all others.
Once the baseline has been tested, if a previous concussion is suspected, or if a known concussion has occurred, the next step is the Concussion Neuropsychological Assessment.
